CELEBRATING APPARENT MIRACLES AT
DESTINY’S HOUSE CHURCH:
There is not room to share all the apparent miracles we have been a
part of at Destiny’s House but here are a few of the more interesting
ones. This is not to say that God heals us every time right away –
He does not. First names only are used in order to protect privacy.
Anyone with faith in Jesus Christ who co-labors with the Holy Spirit
can, and probably already has, done these same miracles and
greater. But we felt the need to share a good mixture of these to
encourage others and to give God the glory He deserves.
FROM GAY ACTIVIST TO TOTAL TRANSFORMATION BY THE TRUE GOD:
On February 5, 2011: The following testimony was given at DestinysHouse and
shows the power of ministry through relationships: Lisa shared that: I was not
only lesbian, but was the main voice for gay rights in my high school. I
accepted as truth and told others I was simply born gay. In the Gay Straight
Alliance club, I would mock specific Bible verses and declare that Christians
used it as a hate tool. I dabbled in lots of religions, I did yoga for years and
even read the 'Buddhist Bible', but didn't consider myself attached to any one
religion. But...as the relationship I was in turned sour and broke off, I realized
how empty I really was. I was actually planning on suicide, but felt, strangely,
that God wanted me alive. There was a flicker of hope in my heart..
One day, my friend sent me a link to Exodus International, a ministry that
"Helps People leave homosexuality". Because we were both gay activists at the
time, we made fun of it. But as I read the testimonies, God gripped my heart
and I began to search more. God set up tons of encounters and I know I had
people praying for me. Then a friend of mine told me about a ministry that
"connects the sexually and relationally broken to Christ". I signed up for a
healing program there, started going to a Bible Study/Discipleship small
group, and also signed up for one-on-one prayer with a staff member. The
person I was connected with for one-on-one prayer was a missionary lady
named Christene. [Christene then shared with us/church]: I found the Holy
Spirit was telling me things about Lisa and showing me the brokeness in her
heart. I told her that the lesbian life was just a cover-up for deeper brokeness...
rejection from her parents, a need for friends and belonging. So instead of
focusing just on what she considered her past sexual identity, I began to reach
out to her as a true friend and just do normal things with her like go to the mall.
Lisa began to open up more and more, and I was able to show her the love of
Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Intead of trying to fix her, I wanted her to
get Jesus as her main thing...then Jesus would do the rest. [Lisa then shared
with us/church]: the gay community was very accepting and inclusive. There I
felt the warmth, family and hugs that I was not getting elsewhere and it fed my
needs. And today...since Jesus brought me out of that world, almost 3 years
ago, I have had zero sexual desire for the girl I was involved with and God has
met my needs and brought me into a vibrant Spirit-filled life. God has healed
me emotionally and relationally, and shown me and continues to show me
who I really am! Nothing is impossible for God!
DIAGNOSIS OF INCURABLE/FATAL DISEASE LEUKODYSTROPHY REMOVED
September, 2010: In May of 2010, little one-year-old Manny was diagnosed
with this terminal disease and given 1-6 months left to live. Doctors instructed
a program to simply make Manny comfortable in his remaining time, since the
brain scans of the brain tissue were so completely negative and his physical
symptoms so severe. Pastors Dan & Beth sent out prayer requests and news
to hundreds of Christians and friends to pray for Manny. Over the next few
weeks, step by step healings confounded doctors and they litterally shook their
heads. Instead of regressing, Manny was improving so much that the doctors
agreed to remove terminal diagnosis. Thank you Jesus for your compassion
and mercy!!
9 HOUR CHURCH SERVICE DISPLAYS HUNGER FOR MORE OF GOD
July 25, 2010: Pastor Dan speaks on the topic of the woman with the constant
bleeding who reached out for the hem of Jesus' garment (Mark 5:24-34). "Just
so happens" that one of the women there came to church bleeding heavy from
a miscarriage that day but chose to come to church anyway and worship her
Jesus. Her act of faith to openly praise & worship God in spite of her
loss/suffering stirred faith & intensity in the folks present. Church began at
noon and carried over until around 9:30 pm., with a half hour break where folks
ate lunch around 2:30. God's sweet presence was enjoyed and there was
much prayer, ministry, laying on of hands, singing/dancing, prophecy and
words of knowledge given by many.
ANGEL SIGHTING DURING CHURCH WORSHIP: April 3, 2010
During a particularly strong praise and worship time in church, one member
feels like someone new is standing behind them and looks back to see no
one there. They still feel like someone is back behind them and look again.
This time, for a split second, they turn to see the edge of a large angelic wing.
Wow!! The sight was so amazing, that when the person tries to talk about it,
they become a bit overwhelmed. First time they have ever seen anything like
this.
PHYSICAL HEALINGS COINCIDE WITH CHURCH HEALING & REVELATION:
January 17, 2010: Pastors Dan & Beth are graciously invited to minister to the
leadership couples of a church in Umatilla. Days leading up to the visit, Beth is
suffering from a severe headache, neck ache and pain in her chest. We pray
and nothing is healed. She believes the pain is connected to the church visit.
During ministering to the leadership, Beth says there is someone here who
has a headache, a neck ache and a pain in the chest. Immediately one woman
says she is the one with the migraine, and instantly another two women say
that they are the one's with the neck pain, and then another says she is the one
with the major pain in the chest. Up to that point the major theme of that night's
ministering has been the falling away of the head pastor (head); the struggle of
the leadership to support the head and the new responsibilities of holding up
the church leadership (the neck), and the pain and fear some have felt for the
church fellowship as it finds a way to move forward after loosing its head
pastor and defining its identity (heart & chest). Wow!! Everyone quickly
perceives the metaphor and is a bit shaken. After Beth prays healing and the
whole leadership group cry out to God, pastor Dan then asks if any of the
women were healed. All say they were completely healed! Several other signs
manifest from God that evening, especially through discernment given to Beth
for the people present. Praise God and Lord bless the Umatilla Church.
REAL DEMONS VISIT CHURCH ON HALLOWEEN:
October 31, 2009: (Halloween) Pastor Dan gives a Halloween message from
Mark 5 on the man named Legion who was possessed of demons and cried
out in the grave yard. Amazingly, right during this message, an actual young
man, possessed of many demons, comes and sits down in church and listens
to rest of sermon. Then the church fellowship pray over him for his deliverance
for the next 3 hours (to 12:30 am). Many fascinating and unusual things
happen then as Holy Spirit and demons collide. Fellowship is made keenly
aware of the reality of the spirit realm this night. As a paradox, he said his
name is "Christian."
MOTHER’S URGENT PRAYER: LOST DAUGHTER UNKNOWINGLY
WANDERS TO OUR CHURCH:
September 19, 2009 late night:A Christian mother & friend are urgently praying
for her daughter who has gone missing after receiving bad news. They pray
that she is protected and brought to safety. Meanwhile the daughter is
wandering down a dark alley behind a shopping strip center, very drunk, wet,
emotionally desperate, and being stalked by two apparent predators. She
skips several openings and eventually goes up a hallway where our church
fellowship is finishing up. At the same time, Pastor Beth believes the Lord is
telling her to go out to the church lobby. She stands in the lobby and wonders
why. She looks outside and sees the lost girl pass by at that very moment.
Beth comes into the sanctuary & grabs Andrea and says: We need to pray for
that woman. Andrea goes and immediately is amazed to see she is not a
stranger at all, but an old friend and the daughter of a Christian friend from
across town. The girl keeps crying out traumatically: Please Help Me!! Beth &
Andrea bring her into the safety of the church and minister to her with others.
Pastor Dan notices the two inebriated men who pass by the church doors
several times and seem to be hunting for their lost prey. Dan closes the
church blinds and stands guard at the front door with Bob & Rich. The
Christian mother who had been praying intensely for her daughter gratefully
gets a phone call from Rich & Elsa that she is safe at our church because she
miraculously wandered quite a ways down the street and into our very arms.
Thank God!!

DID GOD PREVENT A POSSIBLE VIOLENT "HOME INVASION" AT 3 A.M.?:
June 14th, 2009 As I was reading stories to the kids as they eat a snack in
their beds. There's a knock on the door ... how embarrassing ... I have on my
pj's from an early bath today. So I go to the door and ask who it is and peek out
the hole at the top. He says it's Mike, our next door neighbor. Now I don't know
him nor had conversations, but we've done the neighbor wave. He tells me
that this morning about 3am, he heard these noises. Determined it was not in
his house. Strapped on his pistol and headed outside. He saw a pickup on our
front lawn tucked waaay up under the tree, hidden in it's shade. There were 4
guys inside. Mike flips on his porch light ... which should scare most people off
since they've been detected. It did not. Mike kept watching from inside. Three of
the men get out and start headed up to our windows. They began testing the
windows for an open/unlocked one -- where our little children sleep!! Mike then
grabs his shotgun (the kind with the bayonette attached). He pointed it right at
them and told them to leave. They said they were out of gas and just wanted
some money for gas. He said he didn't buy their story and leave or there would
be bullet holes in them. They didn't back down. Neither did he. Cocked the gun.
They slowly got to the truck and drove off, realizing he meant business! He
gave me some tips - like get our motion detector lights fixed, etc. (He also
informed me he's actually shot someone before!) I told him, "Thank you. You're
our guardian angel!" He tells me he is a VERY heavy sleeper and that he's not
sure why he was awakened. I told him that God woke him up to help us. We'll
say an extra prayer of thanks to God and the angels He chooses to use.
REMARKABLE “COINCIDENCE” OF AN ORPHAN’S SHIRT:
March 25, 2009: Try to guess what odds Las Vegas would give on this event:
Pastor Beth & team are getting ready to leave for China to take supplies to
several orphanages there. Woman in U.S. who is trying to adopt a specific
orphan from China she has chosen, and who has recently fought off cancer
and other major discouragement, mails Beth a box of supplies including a
shirt for the trip to give to orphans. Beth & team take supplies to China, drop off
at various orphanages in China, and then come home. Woman gets an
updated picture from agency in China of daughter she is hoping for, and guess
what dress she is wearing in the new picture….that is right…somehow she is
wearing the same dress her soon to be Mom donated to orphanages. This is
even more impressive since the little girl actually lives more than 700 miles
away from where the team delivered supplies. Wow!! Needless to say, this
was incredibly encouraging to so many of us. (see more of this by clicking

HEALED OF FATAL HEART CONDITION
September 23 2008: Pastor Beth is diagnosed with three different heart
problems. One is terminal (on average 1-3 years from diagnosis to death).
She goes for an operation and the fatal issue is now within normal limits. The
terminal diagnosis is removed as the doctor scratches his head.
FAVOR WITH THE MEDIA
September 14, '08. The typically liberal St. Pete Times newspaper called
pastor Dan & Beth and said that they had seen the tithing testimony by Andrea
on the church web site, and asked if they could include it in their upcoming
news story on "Tithing in hard economic times". The reporter interviewed other
much larger churches for the spread, but chose to photograph Andrea and
highlight her. This article in turn led to some good speaking engagement

EYE & EYE SOCKET MOVE TO PROPER POSITION:
Pastor Beth, Ann, Andrea, and Beth’s daughter Zoe go down to visit the “Happy
Hunters” legendary healing school in Houston TX area. Zoe has a rare
disease that causes the right side of the face to grow while the other side does
not. Zoe is prayed over by the Hunters. Before & after photo’s show there was
a definite repositioning of the eye & socket either during or right after this trip

HOPELESS HEART CONDITION
July/August 2008: Many different churches and friends/family were praying for
Pastor Beth’s dad, Pastor Ben, during his sudden heart surgery. He died twice
on the operating table and there were many testimonies of miracles
surrounding his surgery, even from doctors and nurses, but glory to God, he
was blessed and miraculously came through when it seemed for sure he was
finished.
SNAKE MANIFESTS IN CHURCH
September 2007: Pastor Dan preaches on the rod of Aaron turning into a
snake & consuming the snakes of Pharaoh. The message was about taking
authority over the authorities in this world’s system. Dan has the brethren
gather around in a circle and begin to pray out loud against any
“authorities/snakes” that had stolen from them. During this time he lays an
actual sword in the middle of the circle to picture the sword of the Spirit to cut
off the junk of Satan. Suddenly a baby snake seems to appear in the middle of
the circle. This is the first time we have seen a snake in our house. Elsa takes
the sword and kills the snake with it. Wow! One member is upset – why not
just let the snake out the door? Elsa shares the story/parable of the baby
snake that grows up and eats its owner and then says: “But you knew I was a
snake (why are you now surprised?).” The group then discusses how sin
starts out small and cute and innocent, but then can turn into a deadly habit.
Amazingly, later that night Elsa goes home to find a larger snake waiting and
laying across her threshold/front door. After getting it out and killing it, she calls
Pastor Beth in tears. They discuss and then together discern that God is
warning Elsa about someone she loves who is in subtle but great danger and
needs intense prayer right away. The next morning Pastor Dan breaks open
his bible and instantly lands on Acts 28 where Paul is bitten by a snake and no
harm comes to him.
STRANGE MONEY SHOWS UP ON E-MAIL:
September 2007: One quiet evening Pastors Dan & Beth happened to be
discussing the poverty spirit. They were sitting in front of the internet/computer
and Dan was showing Beth from his records from the past how they had only
made around $8,000 one year. If people only knew how poor they were at
times. During this conversation on poverty they happened to notice a new
email come in from a banker Dan knew. It was strange because the email
arrived after 7 pm. on a Friday night. The email from the woman from SBA
lending said she was now sending Dan a little over $8,000 because a woman
he had referred to her had taken out a large SBA loan. This was the first such
referral check Dan had ever received for something like that. The money, exact
amount & timing were a big surprise.
SERIOUS BACK PROBLEMS:
June/July 2007: Upon getting back from China, Pastor Dan is struck down with
a major back problem. He could not sit, stand, or lay down without pain pills.
After going to a back specialist/message therapist, she ordered a CAT scan
because she concluded it must be a serious injury. This continued for days,
and seemed to be bad news. The night of services, Dan got irritated with Rich
& Elsa because they kept praying for healing, even when Dan did not think it
would be healed. Dan got a word that night: “Suffering may last for a night, but
rejoicing comes in the morning.” Rich & Elsa remained persistent in their
prayer and laying on of hands. The next morning Dan awoke healed. (And
never needed to go get the CAT scan).
METH ADDICT SHOWS UP AT DOOR RIGHT BEFORE CHURCH STARTS AND
DOES NOT REALIZE GOD HAD INVITED HIM TO CHURCH:
July 15, 2006: We had not seen David, a struggling foster teen & meth addict,
in two years. He found out where we lived through a mutual friend and decided
to show up. But he showed up at our front door, not knowing it was the exact
time church would be starting in our home that night. He is bald & looks like a
skeleton from the drug effects. We gently enticed him to come on in. Through
his hard exterior, he eventually allows us to pray for him, and then he begins to
cry tears and let God minister to him briefly. We have not seen him since.
HEALED OF UNFORGIVENESS:
November 11, 2006: A business man, Ron & wife Maurice joined Destiny’s
House briefly before moving off to Providencia Island. The group tried to
minister to the gentleman because he seemed resistant to the Holy Spirit. The
following week he asked to be baptized and said that the Lord told him that the
reason he had not received was because he was holding unforgiveness
toward a man who had sold him a failing business by “cooking the books,”
years ago. He was able to let it go with God’s help, and Pastor Dan & Rich
baptized him that night. Dan told him that when he looked at him, he kept
thinking he was like a chief. He told Dan that was a confirmation, because his
son Matthew always called him “chief”.
HOLY SPIRIT EXPOSES TRAUMA & SEXUAL ABUSE:
October 21, 2006: Destiny’s House Church meeting as usual. A gentleman
calls and asks if he can bring his girl friend to be prayed over who is slightly
drunk and high on cocaine, on his way to a facility to get her help. Let’s call this
attractive lady: Rachel. So this gentleman brings Rachel and all eat potluck at
church, as usual, and she seems fine, relaxed, and carrying on regular
conversation with folks there. Then, as the meeting is about to begin, everyone
begins to quietly pray for God’s presence. As they quietly pray, Rachel suddenly
screams and screams and begins crying and going crazy. Suddenly one of the
young adult ladies in the fellowship also screams loudly and falls to the
ground traumatically. Folks continue to pray intensely and ask the Lord what to
do. Rachel tightly hugs the pastor, and he backs away from her, sensing a
sexual demonic spirit. Rachel begins to confess out loud of sexual abuse and
trauma most of her teen years into young adult and begins to pour out
confession of secret things as though throwing up. The fellowship all sense
that God wants just the ladies to minister healing to Rachel and the men go to
another room to continue on separately. Around 3 hours later of the ladies
ministering to her, it is evident that Rachel is a new person in many ways.
Glory to God!
REBUKING A SWARM OF WASPS
August 2006: Pastor Dan was walking up an outdoor flight of steps when one
of the steps disturbed a very large wasp nest underneath the step. He felt the
wasps begin to attack and touch his legs, and immediately he said loudly:
“Rebuke you in the name of Jesus” and the swarm immediately disappeared.
Dan came back later and saw the huge swarm/nest under that particular step.
REBUKING TWO BAD DOGS:
A similar thing happened to pastor Beth when the Gore family was on a walk
down a country road when the kids were mere toddlers. Two black dogs
darted toward the kids as though in “attack mode” from out of the woods. Beth
rebuked them in Jesus name, and they did a 180 degree about face and ran
the other way back into the woods.
AN INVISIBLE HAND
March 11, 2006: Pastor Dan lays hands and prays for Carmen. She falls under
the power and said: “I felt what was like a Hand, reaching inside my body, right
where my pain was, and healing me!” She tried several times to get up but
seemed to be held down by the power for another 45 minutes or so. Look at
God! Later she was so influenced by the Spirit that she needed help to walk
out to her car. At the same time as this, one of the teens was acting very
strange and Pastor Dan was thanking God that she was getting touched too by
God’s Spirit. But Dan was wrong. Two ladies with the gift of discernment
(Andrea & Beth) said the teen was having demon problems and questioned
Dan if they could take over. They then prayed over the teen with which demons
had been being choking off her voice and strangling her breath. She later told
us she had been fighting for her life that whole time but no one seemed to
catch it right away. As she was ministered to by Ann, Andrea & Beth, demons
started to come up out of her belly and she would wretch violently each time.
Dan got a bucket for her as white phlegm would be spit out each time various
demons were called out by name. She said: “Wow, demons stink!” As the
Holy Spirit gave them names, the team called them out one by one. This went
on for almost an hour. After it was over, there was a visible change and the
teen confessed she now felt very different. Dan then had all who were part of
that process sign their name on a paper telling her how much she was loved,
how they were so proud of her, and not to be embarrassed.
MAN COMES OUT OF A COMA…IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!!
February 4, 2006: Reuben shares with the fellowship he has a heavy heart for
a friend who has been stuck in a coma for quite some time, down in Puerto
Rico. Bob & Ann and others jump up and pray for this friend of Reuben’s,
Eduardo. Pastor Dan does not pray. Reuben has a phone call with Eduardo’s
wife the very next morning that is overjoyed and said that the doctor called and
said that it was a miracle!! The same time that Destiny’s House prayed the
night before, Eduardo saw things turn and made a rapid recovery – coming out
of a coma. He only speaks Spanish, but upon hearing about the prayers,
expressed the goal of coming to America and visiting our group.
VISION IMPROVES
January 6, 2006: First time Bob steps out in faith & authority: prays over Jacob
with oil and Jacob can immediately see better. Dexterity in his hands/fingers
improves as well. Beth confirms improvement with an eye doctor days later.
The same night, Pastor Dan prays over a visiting teen, Nick. Strangely, instead
of falling under the power, Nick becomes like a standing frozen statue for 30-
40 minutes.
TEENS BECOME MINISTERS
November 20, 2005: The youth pastor at Assemblies of God down the road
cancels the teen church meeting for that Sunday evening. Andrea asks if they
can have church at Destiny’s House since Becca & Ashley had been really
blessed on Saturday night. Pastor Dan is fatigued but Beth presses. A crowd of
teens come up to the door and knock. No one seems to know what or why we
are together that night (except God). After a few praise songs, the Holy Spirit
suddenly falls in the room and many miracles break out simultaneously. As
four or five adults pray on the side lines, the teens begin to minister to each
other and see miracles. For example, a teen who played keyboard for church
was considered shy and had been in depression for several months, was
prayed over by Andrea and she laughed very loudly and uncontrollably for the
next two hours, non-stop. A teen around 6’ 4” and 300 lbs. accepted Christ as
Savior, was touched by a small little female teen during prayer and knocked
backwards by the power of God. Pastor Beth ministered to a pastor’s son by
the Spirit and “read his mail”. She said that he had gotten mixed up into things
such as the occult/Satan worship and was cutting himself on purpose. He
was shocked that she knew many various secret things that God had showed
her in regards to him. She was able to minister to him strongly.
CHRONIC MIGRAINE HEALED
October 5, 2005: Prophet Gene prays over Beth’s chronic headache she has
had since the DNC was performed over a year before. Headache leaves for
the first time.
TO THOSE WHO HAVE LEFT US:
February 13, 2005: For some reason, during this service, the fellowship began
to lift up and pray for those who had left our fellowship for one reason or
another over the past months/years. The following week we had unexpected
re-connects with three separate individuals we had not talked with in months,
who used to be in our fellowship.
A TEEN’S FIRST NIGHT TO MINSTER IN THE SPIRIT:
February 6, 2005: Jackie’s sister Samantha visits our meeting. Both sisters
are attacked during the meeting from an authority figure in their family who is
drunk and continues to call them on the phone & harass. Their teen friend
Andrea begins to shake and cry under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Pastor
Dan tells her the Holy Spirit is bubbling out of her and to open her mouth and
speak whatever comes out. She then goes around the room laying hands on
people and giving beautiful specific prayers to various folks through tears and
by the Spirit. Wow! The fellowship then cheers her on and grateful how God
used her as a willing vessel. That service lasted over 8 hours straight.
HEALED OF A CHEMICAL BURN ON HAND
January 29, 2005: Just before the start of service, there was an accident of
broken glass all around Luke (age 1 ½). He is somehow not even scratched.
Pastor Beth cleans up the spill using some chemicals but accidentally gets a
bad chemical burn on her hand. During the service, she is instantly healed of
her burned hand during her prayer for Rich & Elsa’s need.
NO PALM READER NECESSARY
December 25, 2004: Ann looks at visitor Don during service, and suddenly
begins to rattle off details about his life that she had no way of knowing (we
lovingly call: reading a person’s mail). He confirms that she is correct on
everything. As a result, he expresses interest in this thing called: baptism of the
Holy Spirit.
SPINA-BIFADA
November 20, 2004: Pastor Dan prays over Alise for a type of spina-bifada and
pain in her lower back. Pain gone but numbness remains. So Dan lays hands
on her and prays a second time. Numbness gone. Praise God! Later Pastor
Beth prays over Baptist brother Don. Don suddenly announces before her
prayer that he will not be falling down during her prayer. So she prays and he
falls under the power of the Anointing.
FROM DEPRESSION TO MUCH LAUGHTER:
June 5, 2004: Pastor Dan prayed over 12 year old Michael. After he fell out
under the power and rested on the floor, Andrea went over and prayed over him
another 2-3 minutes and asked God to give him joy. Then Michael got up and
started laughing heartily for the next 2-3 hours. Every time he tried to quit
laughing, it bubbled up out of him and he burst out again. Everyone was quite
amused by this – a kid who usually slept through the meetings, rarely smiled,
and begged his parents not to have to come that night. Now he was begging
not to leave church meeting.
GOD CLEANS OUT SMOKER’S LUNGS
April 24, 2004 Pastor’s Dan & Beth pray over gentleman who is addicted to
cigarettes. Suddenly he doubles over in real pain during the prayer. This
confuses Pastor Dan, who does not understand why someone would get hurt
badly during prayer. Gentleman asks Dan why he had just punched him in the
stomach. Dan said he did no such thing. Beth quickly got a word from the
Lord: “God is cleaning out your lungs/system from nicotine. Have you breathed
with healthy lungs before?” The gentleman answered “no” and then laughed
with joy for some time and agreed that God was doing this, and that his
breathing was changed. To our knowledge, he is still set free from cigarettes.
I’M JUST HERE TO DROP OFF MY SISTER:
(March 4, 2004)…is what the young man with piercings said to Bob before the
meeting was to start. Bob persuaded him to come on in and stay for a little bit.
A few minutes into the meeting the Spirit of the Lord seemed to fall on the
entire group there. Without anyone laying hands on him or speaking over him,
the stranger/visitor fell backwards into the couch and got up laughing and then
crying and then speaking in tongues, and then laughing, crying, and then
speaking in tongues. Pastor Dan asked him what was happening. He said he
didn’t even know what was happening to himself...he had only meant to drop
off his sister to the meeting.
GIFT OF THE SPIRIT FALLS ON UNEXPECTED
February 2004: A member, Bob, finds himself standing up and giving a Word of
Knowledge to Connie. Bob later said that he did not seem to know what he
was saying or why, but his words were very strong and by the Spirit. He
expressed great surprise and said this had never happened to him before.
HEALED OF SEVERE STROKE/PARALYSIS:
2003/2004: Rick & Terry were neighbors across the street from church
members Ann & Bob. Ann began to reach out to them and pray for them when
they were going through difficult times. One evening, Terry went into severe
seizures and the ambulance was called. Ann called Destiny’s House
members to pray in earnest. Ann & Bob & Pastor Dan went over to lay hands
and pray at the hospital. Terry was paralyzed on one half of her body with a
tube down her throat and no communication. The doctors told her husband to
prepare himself for many years of paralysis, special handicap needs for his
wife, and to put her in a hospice. Rick was in shock. God had different plans
for Rick & Terry. A day or two later she walked out of the Hospital on her own
strength and seemed back to her normal self. Pastor Dan phoned another
pastor who had been by to pray, and told him the news. The pastor was in
shock and said that she had looked dead & hopeless when he had visited to
pray. A week later from the incident, Terry was back at work.
BLESSED MARRIAGE:
September 20, 2003: Mike & Stacy announce to the fellowship publicly that they
would never have stayed together and would never have married had it not
been for this family of believer’s prayer & support.
STOLEN BOAT RECOVERED:
December 2003: Pastors Beth & Dan visit friend Jeff & his girlfriend’s boat
tours business in St. Pete Florida. Jeff is sad because one of her boats was
just stolen earlier that day. While everyone else is speaking bad news over
them and telling them they will never get it back; asking about insurance, Beth
& Dan spoke (prophesied) that God would get the boat back and catch the bad
guy(s) who had stolen it. The next morning Jeff called Beth with these words:
“It’s a miracle!! Like a needle in a haystack, I don’t know how else they could
have spotted it, but a plane flying several miles over at…”
MYSTERIOUS ‘SUDDENLY’
August 22, 2003: Several teens join us in prayer. During prayer in a circle, one
named William suddenly leaves the prayers circle as though violently ill, and
goes to a back room. Awhile later a teen girl, Kayla, asks Pastor Dan to go
back and talk to William. He says basically this statement: “I still don’t know
what is happening to me. For the last several minutes I have been crying to
God and repenting of my sins & I don’t know why. All the years I’ve gone to my
other church, nothing like this has ever happened to me!” He was visibly very
shaken up. He later told Heidi that he would like to come to every meeting from
then on.
ACID REFLUX HEALED:
June 2003: Pastor Dan prayed over Ken, who said he could not seem to get
over acid reflux and get a good night’s sleep. The next weekend Ken said: 1
night, 2 nights, 3 nights, then 4th night he really took a step of faith and ate
ravioli at 9:45 p.m. – still no acid reflux! Praise God!
GOD ENHANCES BAPTISM:
Easter Sunday March 20, 2003: Pastor Dan & Ken baptize Heidi, Kayla, and
David at Apollo beach. Some commented that it was the best baptism they
had ever been to because, in part, of things like dolphins that swam up and a
cloud formation above them that strangely had the distinct form of a large
cross. (Photographs available)
One sad note: Bob had a heavy heart for David’s father and felt pressed to ask
him if he would like to be baptized too. He declined. He died in a car accident a
few days later.
TRAGEDY AVERTED
July 2002: Pastor’s Dan & Beth’s daughter was on a tricyle that was
accidentally pushed down a hill and into the street in front of a speeding van
coming around a blind corner. Beth yells, “Help Jesus.” Everyone seemed in
shock, including the driver who could not figure out why his van stopped in
such a short distance.
FOUR HEALED OF BRAIN TUMORS/CANCER:
April/May 2002: Around this time there were strangely 4 different people who
had brain tumors that we were asked to pray for. None of these folks knew
each other...we heard of them through different people. Destiny’s House lifted
each of them up in prayer; soon after, all 4 were healed and no longer had
tumors. We were certainly not the only ones praying and not necessarily who
God was using directly to get them healed…God seemed to respond to a
multitude of prayers. But two were close relatives of members of Destiny’s
House.
FEELS LIKE FIRE:
February 2002: Pastor Dan & Mark Stelling pray over Bob. Bob then begins to
tell them that he is very surprised that his body feels suddenly very hot, as
though it is on fire. All concur that this is a sign from God -- showing that He is
burning out the spiritual impurities from Bob.
SPIRIT OF SUICIDE & DEEP DEPRESSION:
Pastor Dan prays for a woman very close to Beth who is bothered by a spirit of
suicide & major depression. Dan confesses after the prayer that the unclean
spirit was so strong in the room that it felt as though all his faith & hope for the
woman was sucked out of the room and all he had left was just “empty
sounding” words. Dan lost all faith during the prayer and later worried that the
prayer had no effect. Weeks later that same woman said that that prayer was
the turning point in her life. From then on those same demonic spirits did not
come back again.
DESTINY’S HOUSE CHURCH:
There is not room to share all the apparent miracles we have been a
part of at Destiny’s House but here are a few of the more interesting
ones. This is not to say that God heals us every time right away –
He does not. First names only are used in order to protect privacy.
Anyone with faith in Jesus Christ who co-labors with the Holy Spirit
can, and probably already has, done these same miracles and
greater. But we felt the need to share a good mixture of these to
encourage others and to give God the glory He deserves.
FROM GAY ACTIVIST TO TOTAL TRANSFORMATION BY THE TRUE GOD:
On February 5, 2011: The following testimony was given at DestinysHouse and
shows the power of ministry through relationships: Lisa shared that: I was not
only lesbian, but was the main voice for gay rights in my high school. I
accepted as truth and told others I was simply born gay. In the Gay Straight
Alliance club, I would mock specific Bible verses and declare that Christians
used it as a hate tool. I dabbled in lots of religions, I did yoga for years and
even read the 'Buddhist Bible', but didn't consider myself attached to any one
religion. But...as the relationship I was in turned sour and broke off, I realized
how empty I really was. I was actually planning on suicide, but felt, strangely,
that God wanted me alive. There was a flicker of hope in my heart..
One day, my friend sent me a link to Exodus International, a ministry that
"Helps People leave homosexuality". Because we were both gay activists at the
time, we made fun of it. But as I read the testimonies, God gripped my heart
and I began to search more. God set up tons of encounters and I know I had
people praying for me. Then a friend of mine told me about a ministry that
"connects the sexually and relationally broken to Christ". I signed up for a
healing program there, started going to a Bible Study/Discipleship small
group, and also signed up for one-on-one prayer with a staff member. The
person I was connected with for one-on-one prayer was a missionary lady
named Christene. [Christene then shared with us/church]: I found the Holy
Spirit was telling me things about Lisa and showing me the brokeness in her
heart. I told her that the lesbian life was just a cover-up for deeper brokeness...
rejection from her parents, a need for friends and belonging. So instead of
focusing just on what she considered her past sexual identity, I began to reach
out to her as a true friend and just do normal things with her like go to the mall.
Lisa began to open up more and more, and I was able to show her the love of
Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Intead of trying to fix her, I wanted her to
get Jesus as her main thing...then Jesus would do the rest. [Lisa then shared
with us/church]: the gay community was very accepting and inclusive. There I
felt the warmth, family and hugs that I was not getting elsewhere and it fed my
needs. And today...since Jesus brought me out of that world, almost 3 years
ago, I have had zero sexual desire for the girl I was involved with and God has
met my needs and brought me into a vibrant Spirit-filled life. God has healed
me emotionally and relationally, and shown me and continues to show me
who I really am! Nothing is impossible for God!
DIAGNOSIS OF INCURABLE/FATAL DISEASE LEUKODYSTROPHY REMOVED
September, 2010: In May of 2010, little one-year-old Manny was diagnosed
with this terminal disease and given 1-6 months left to live. Doctors instructed
a program to simply make Manny comfortable in his remaining time, since the
brain scans of the brain tissue were so completely negative and his physical
symptoms so severe. Pastors Dan & Beth sent out prayer requests and news
to hundreds of Christians and friends to pray for Manny. Over the next few
weeks, step by step healings confounded doctors and they litterally shook their
heads. Instead of regressing, Manny was improving so much that the doctors
agreed to remove terminal diagnosis. Thank you Jesus for your compassion
and mercy!!
9 HOUR CHURCH SERVICE DISPLAYS HUNGER FOR MORE OF GOD
July 25, 2010: Pastor Dan speaks on the topic of the woman with the constant
bleeding who reached out for the hem of Jesus' garment (Mark 5:24-34). "Just
so happens" that one of the women there came to church bleeding heavy from
a miscarriage that day but chose to come to church anyway and worship her
Jesus. Her act of faith to openly praise & worship God in spite of her
loss/suffering stirred faith & intensity in the folks present. Church began at
noon and carried over until around 9:30 pm., with a half hour break where folks
ate lunch around 2:30. God's sweet presence was enjoyed and there was
much prayer, ministry, laying on of hands, singing/dancing, prophecy and
words of knowledge given by many.
ANGEL SIGHTING DURING CHURCH WORSHIP: April 3, 2010
During a particularly strong praise and worship time in church, one member
feels like someone new is standing behind them and looks back to see no
one there. They still feel like someone is back behind them and look again.
This time, for a split second, they turn to see the edge of a large angelic wing.
Wow!! The sight was so amazing, that when the person tries to talk about it,
they become a bit overwhelmed. First time they have ever seen anything like
this.
PHYSICAL HEALINGS COINCIDE WITH CHURCH HEALING & REVELATION:
January 17, 2010: Pastors Dan & Beth are graciously invited to minister to the
leadership couples of a church in Umatilla. Days leading up to the visit, Beth is
suffering from a severe headache, neck ache and pain in her chest. We pray
and nothing is healed. She believes the pain is connected to the church visit.
During ministering to the leadership, Beth says there is someone here who
has a headache, a neck ache and a pain in the chest. Immediately one woman
says she is the one with the migraine, and instantly another two women say
that they are the one's with the neck pain, and then another says she is the one
with the major pain in the chest. Up to that point the major theme of that night's
ministering has been the falling away of the head pastor (head); the struggle of
the leadership to support the head and the new responsibilities of holding up
the church leadership (the neck), and the pain and fear some have felt for the
church fellowship as it finds a way to move forward after loosing its head
pastor and defining its identity (heart & chest). Wow!! Everyone quickly
perceives the metaphor and is a bit shaken. After Beth prays healing and the
whole leadership group cry out to God, pastor Dan then asks if any of the
women were healed. All say they were completely healed! Several other signs
manifest from God that evening, especially through discernment given to Beth
for the people present. Praise God and Lord bless the Umatilla Church.
REAL DEMONS VISIT CHURCH ON HALLOWEEN:
October 31, 2009: (Halloween) Pastor Dan gives a Halloween message from
Mark 5 on the man named Legion who was possessed of demons and cried
out in the grave yard. Amazingly, right during this message, an actual young
man, possessed of many demons, comes and sits down in church and listens
to rest of sermon. Then the church fellowship pray over him for his deliverance
for the next 3 hours (to 12:30 am). Many fascinating and unusual things
happen then as Holy Spirit and demons collide. Fellowship is made keenly
aware of the reality of the spirit realm this night. As a paradox, he said his
name is "Christian."
MOTHER’S URGENT PRAYER: LOST DAUGHTER UNKNOWINGLY
WANDERS TO OUR CHURCH:
September 19, 2009 late night:A Christian mother & friend are urgently praying
for her daughter who has gone missing after receiving bad news. They pray
that she is protected and brought to safety. Meanwhile the daughter is
wandering down a dark alley behind a shopping strip center, very drunk, wet,
emotionally desperate, and being stalked by two apparent predators. She
skips several openings and eventually goes up a hallway where our church
fellowship is finishing up. At the same time, Pastor Beth believes the Lord is
telling her to go out to the church lobby. She stands in the lobby and wonders
why. She looks outside and sees the lost girl pass by at that very moment.
Beth comes into the sanctuary & grabs Andrea and says: We need to pray for
that woman. Andrea goes and immediately is amazed to see she is not a
stranger at all, but an old friend and the daughter of a Christian friend from
across town. The girl keeps crying out traumatically: Please Help Me!! Beth &
Andrea bring her into the safety of the church and minister to her with others.
Pastor Dan notices the two inebriated men who pass by the church doors
several times and seem to be hunting for their lost prey. Dan closes the
church blinds and stands guard at the front door with Bob & Rich. The
Christian mother who had been praying intensely for her daughter gratefully
gets a phone call from Rich & Elsa that she is safe at our church because she
miraculously wandered quite a ways down the street and into our very arms.
Thank God!!

DID GOD PREVENT A POSSIBLE VIOLENT "HOME INVASION" AT 3 A.M.?:
June 14th, 2009 As I was reading stories to the kids as they eat a snack in
their beds. There's a knock on the door ... how embarrassing ... I have on my
pj's from an early bath today. So I go to the door and ask who it is and peek out
the hole at the top. He says it's Mike, our next door neighbor. Now I don't know
him nor had conversations, but we've done the neighbor wave. He tells me
that this morning about 3am, he heard these noises. Determined it was not in
his house. Strapped on his pistol and headed outside. He saw a pickup on our
front lawn tucked waaay up under the tree, hidden in it's shade. There were 4
guys inside. Mike flips on his porch light ... which should scare most people off
since they've been detected. It did not. Mike kept watching from inside. Three of
the men get out and start headed up to our windows. They began testing the
windows for an open/unlocked one -- where our little children sleep!! Mike then
grabs his shotgun (the kind with the bayonette attached). He pointed it right at
them and told them to leave. They said they were out of gas and just wanted
some money for gas. He said he didn't buy their story and leave or there would
be bullet holes in them. They didn't back down. Neither did he. Cocked the gun.
They slowly got to the truck and drove off, realizing he meant business! He
gave me some tips - like get our motion detector lights fixed, etc. (He also
informed me he's actually shot someone before!) I told him, "Thank you. You're
our guardian angel!" He tells me he is a VERY heavy sleeper and that he's not
sure why he was awakened. I told him that God woke him up to help us. We'll
say an extra prayer of thanks to God and the angels He chooses to use.
REMARKABLE “COINCIDENCE” OF AN ORPHAN’S SHIRT:
March 25, 2009: Try to guess what odds Las Vegas would give on this event:
Pastor Beth & team are getting ready to leave for China to take supplies to
several orphanages there. Woman in U.S. who is trying to adopt a specific
orphan from China she has chosen, and who has recently fought off cancer
and other major discouragement, mails Beth a box of supplies including a
shirt for the trip to give to orphans. Beth & team take supplies to China, drop off
at various orphanages in China, and then come home. Woman gets an
updated picture from agency in China of daughter she is hoping for, and guess
what dress she is wearing in the new picture….that is right…somehow she is
wearing the same dress her soon to be Mom donated to orphanages. This is
even more impressive since the little girl actually lives more than 700 miles
away from where the team delivered supplies. Wow!! Needless to say, this
was incredibly encouraging to so many of us. (see more of this by clicking

HEALED OF FATAL HEART CONDITION
September 23 2008: Pastor Beth is diagnosed with three different heart
problems. One is terminal (on average 1-3 years from diagnosis to death).
She goes for an operation and the fatal issue is now within normal limits. The
terminal diagnosis is removed as the doctor scratches his head.
FAVOR WITH THE MEDIA
September 14, '08. The typically liberal St. Pete Times newspaper called
pastor Dan & Beth and said that they had seen the tithing testimony by Andrea
on the church web site, and asked if they could include it in their upcoming
news story on "Tithing in hard economic times". The reporter interviewed other
much larger churches for the spread, but chose to photograph Andrea and
highlight her. This article in turn led to some good speaking engagement

EYE & EYE SOCKET MOVE TO PROPER POSITION:
Pastor Beth, Ann, Andrea, and Beth’s daughter Zoe go down to visit the “Happy
Hunters” legendary healing school in Houston TX area. Zoe has a rare
disease that causes the right side of the face to grow while the other side does
not. Zoe is prayed over by the Hunters. Before & after photo’s show there was
a definite repositioning of the eye & socket either during or right after this trip

HOPELESS HEART CONDITION
July/August 2008: Many different churches and friends/family were praying for
Pastor Beth’s dad, Pastor Ben, during his sudden heart surgery. He died twice
on the operating table and there were many testimonies of miracles
surrounding his surgery, even from doctors and nurses, but glory to God, he
was blessed and miraculously came through when it seemed for sure he was
finished.
SNAKE MANIFESTS IN CHURCH
September 2007: Pastor Dan preaches on the rod of Aaron turning into a
snake & consuming the snakes of Pharaoh. The message was about taking
authority over the authorities in this world’s system. Dan has the brethren
gather around in a circle and begin to pray out loud against any
“authorities/snakes” that had stolen from them. During this time he lays an
actual sword in the middle of the circle to picture the sword of the Spirit to cut
off the junk of Satan. Suddenly a baby snake seems to appear in the middle of
the circle. This is the first time we have seen a snake in our house. Elsa takes
the sword and kills the snake with it. Wow! One member is upset – why not
just let the snake out the door? Elsa shares the story/parable of the baby
snake that grows up and eats its owner and then says: “But you knew I was a
snake (why are you now surprised?).” The group then discusses how sin
starts out small and cute and innocent, but then can turn into a deadly habit.
Amazingly, later that night Elsa goes home to find a larger snake waiting and
laying across her threshold/front door. After getting it out and killing it, she calls
Pastor Beth in tears. They discuss and then together discern that God is
warning Elsa about someone she loves who is in subtle but great danger and
needs intense prayer right away. The next morning Pastor Dan breaks open
his bible and instantly lands on Acts 28 where Paul is bitten by a snake and no
harm comes to him.
STRANGE MONEY SHOWS UP ON E-MAIL:
September 2007: One quiet evening Pastors Dan & Beth happened to be
discussing the poverty spirit. They were sitting in front of the internet/computer
and Dan was showing Beth from his records from the past how they had only
made around $8,000 one year. If people only knew how poor they were at
times. During this conversation on poverty they happened to notice a new
email come in from a banker Dan knew. It was strange because the email
arrived after 7 pm. on a Friday night. The email from the woman from SBA
lending said she was now sending Dan a little over $8,000 because a woman
he had referred to her had taken out a large SBA loan. This was the first such
referral check Dan had ever received for something like that. The money, exact
amount & timing were a big surprise.
SERIOUS BACK PROBLEMS:
June/July 2007: Upon getting back from China, Pastor Dan is struck down with
a major back problem. He could not sit, stand, or lay down without pain pills.
After going to a back specialist/message therapist, she ordered a CAT scan
because she concluded it must be a serious injury. This continued for days,
and seemed to be bad news. The night of services, Dan got irritated with Rich
& Elsa because they kept praying for healing, even when Dan did not think it
would be healed. Dan got a word that night: “Suffering may last for a night, but
rejoicing comes in the morning.” Rich & Elsa remained persistent in their
prayer and laying on of hands. The next morning Dan awoke healed. (And
never needed to go get the CAT scan).
METH ADDICT SHOWS UP AT DOOR RIGHT BEFORE CHURCH STARTS AND
DOES NOT REALIZE GOD HAD INVITED HIM TO CHURCH:
July 15, 2006: We had not seen David, a struggling foster teen & meth addict,
in two years. He found out where we lived through a mutual friend and decided
to show up. But he showed up at our front door, not knowing it was the exact
time church would be starting in our home that night. He is bald & looks like a
skeleton from the drug effects. We gently enticed him to come on in. Through
his hard exterior, he eventually allows us to pray for him, and then he begins to
cry tears and let God minister to him briefly. We have not seen him since.
HEALED OF UNFORGIVENESS:
November 11, 2006: A business man, Ron & wife Maurice joined Destiny’s
House briefly before moving off to Providencia Island. The group tried to
minister to the gentleman because he seemed resistant to the Holy Spirit. The
following week he asked to be baptized and said that the Lord told him that the
reason he had not received was because he was holding unforgiveness
toward a man who had sold him a failing business by “cooking the books,”
years ago. He was able to let it go with God’s help, and Pastor Dan & Rich
baptized him that night. Dan told him that when he looked at him, he kept
thinking he was like a chief. He told Dan that was a confirmation, because his
son Matthew always called him “chief”.
HOLY SPIRIT EXPOSES TRAUMA & SEXUAL ABUSE:
October 21, 2006: Destiny’s House Church meeting as usual. A gentleman
calls and asks if he can bring his girl friend to be prayed over who is slightly
drunk and high on cocaine, on his way to a facility to get her help. Let’s call this
attractive lady: Rachel. So this gentleman brings Rachel and all eat potluck at
church, as usual, and she seems fine, relaxed, and carrying on regular
conversation with folks there. Then, as the meeting is about to begin, everyone
begins to quietly pray for God’s presence. As they quietly pray, Rachel suddenly
screams and screams and begins crying and going crazy. Suddenly one of the
young adult ladies in the fellowship also screams loudly and falls to the
ground traumatically. Folks continue to pray intensely and ask the Lord what to
do. Rachel tightly hugs the pastor, and he backs away from her, sensing a
sexual demonic spirit. Rachel begins to confess out loud of sexual abuse and
trauma most of her teen years into young adult and begins to pour out
confession of secret things as though throwing up. The fellowship all sense
that God wants just the ladies to minister healing to Rachel and the men go to
another room to continue on separately. Around 3 hours later of the ladies
ministering to her, it is evident that Rachel is a new person in many ways.
Glory to God!
REBUKING A SWARM OF WASPS
August 2006: Pastor Dan was walking up an outdoor flight of steps when one
of the steps disturbed a very large wasp nest underneath the step. He felt the
wasps begin to attack and touch his legs, and immediately he said loudly:
“Rebuke you in the name of Jesus” and the swarm immediately disappeared.
Dan came back later and saw the huge swarm/nest under that particular step.
REBUKING TWO BAD DOGS:
A similar thing happened to pastor Beth when the Gore family was on a walk
down a country road when the kids were mere toddlers. Two black dogs
darted toward the kids as though in “attack mode” from out of the woods. Beth
rebuked them in Jesus name, and they did a 180 degree about face and ran
the other way back into the woods.
AN INVISIBLE HAND
March 11, 2006: Pastor Dan lays hands and prays for Carmen. She falls under
the power and said: “I felt what was like a Hand, reaching inside my body, right
where my pain was, and healing me!” She tried several times to get up but
seemed to be held down by the power for another 45 minutes or so. Look at
God! Later she was so influenced by the Spirit that she needed help to walk
out to her car. At the same time as this, one of the teens was acting very
strange and Pastor Dan was thanking God that she was getting touched too by
God’s Spirit. But Dan was wrong. Two ladies with the gift of discernment
(Andrea & Beth) said the teen was having demon problems and questioned
Dan if they could take over. They then prayed over the teen with which demons
had been being choking off her voice and strangling her breath. She later told
us she had been fighting for her life that whole time but no one seemed to
catch it right away. As she was ministered to by Ann, Andrea & Beth, demons
started to come up out of her belly and she would wretch violently each time.
Dan got a bucket for her as white phlegm would be spit out each time various
demons were called out by name. She said: “Wow, demons stink!” As the
Holy Spirit gave them names, the team called them out one by one. This went
on for almost an hour. After it was over, there was a visible change and the
teen confessed she now felt very different. Dan then had all who were part of
that process sign their name on a paper telling her how much she was loved,
how they were so proud of her, and not to be embarrassed.
MAN COMES OUT OF A COMA…IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!!
February 4, 2006: Reuben shares with the fellowship he has a heavy heart for
a friend who has been stuck in a coma for quite some time, down in Puerto
Rico. Bob & Ann and others jump up and pray for this friend of Reuben’s,
Eduardo. Pastor Dan does not pray. Reuben has a phone call with Eduardo’s
wife the very next morning that is overjoyed and said that the doctor called and
said that it was a miracle!! The same time that Destiny’s House prayed the
night before, Eduardo saw things turn and made a rapid recovery – coming out
of a coma. He only speaks Spanish, but upon hearing about the prayers,
expressed the goal of coming to America and visiting our group.
VISION IMPROVES
January 6, 2006: First time Bob steps out in faith & authority: prays over Jacob
with oil and Jacob can immediately see better. Dexterity in his hands/fingers
improves as well. Beth confirms improvement with an eye doctor days later.
The same night, Pastor Dan prays over a visiting teen, Nick. Strangely, instead
of falling under the power, Nick becomes like a standing frozen statue for 30-
40 minutes.
TEENS BECOME MINISTERS
November 20, 2005: The youth pastor at Assemblies of God down the road
cancels the teen church meeting for that Sunday evening. Andrea asks if they
can have church at Destiny’s House since Becca & Ashley had been really
blessed on Saturday night. Pastor Dan is fatigued but Beth presses. A crowd of
teens come up to the door and knock. No one seems to know what or why we
are together that night (except God). After a few praise songs, the Holy Spirit
suddenly falls in the room and many miracles break out simultaneously. As
four or five adults pray on the side lines, the teens begin to minister to each
other and see miracles. For example, a teen who played keyboard for church
was considered shy and had been in depression for several months, was
prayed over by Andrea and she laughed very loudly and uncontrollably for the
next two hours, non-stop. A teen around 6’ 4” and 300 lbs. accepted Christ as
Savior, was touched by a small little female teen during prayer and knocked
backwards by the power of God. Pastor Beth ministered to a pastor’s son by
the Spirit and “read his mail”. She said that he had gotten mixed up into things
such as the occult/Satan worship and was cutting himself on purpose. He
was shocked that she knew many various secret things that God had showed
her in regards to him. She was able to minister to him strongly.
CHRONIC MIGRAINE HEALED
October 5, 2005: Prophet Gene prays over Beth’s chronic headache she has
had since the DNC was performed over a year before. Headache leaves for
the first time.
TO THOSE WHO HAVE LEFT US:
February 13, 2005: For some reason, during this service, the fellowship began
to lift up and pray for those who had left our fellowship for one reason or
another over the past months/years. The following week we had unexpected
re-connects with three separate individuals we had not talked with in months,
who used to be in our fellowship.
A TEEN’S FIRST NIGHT TO MINSTER IN THE SPIRIT:
February 6, 2005: Jackie’s sister Samantha visits our meeting. Both sisters
are attacked during the meeting from an authority figure in their family who is
drunk and continues to call them on the phone & harass. Their teen friend
Andrea begins to shake and cry under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Pastor
Dan tells her the Holy Spirit is bubbling out of her and to open her mouth and
speak whatever comes out. She then goes around the room laying hands on
people and giving beautiful specific prayers to various folks through tears and
by the Spirit. Wow! The fellowship then cheers her on and grateful how God
used her as a willing vessel. That service lasted over 8 hours straight.
HEALED OF A CHEMICAL BURN ON HAND
January 29, 2005: Just before the start of service, there was an accident of
broken glass all around Luke (age 1 ½). He is somehow not even scratched.
Pastor Beth cleans up the spill using some chemicals but accidentally gets a
bad chemical burn on her hand. During the service, she is instantly healed of
her burned hand during her prayer for Rich & Elsa’s need.
NO PALM READER NECESSARY
December 25, 2004: Ann looks at visitor Don during service, and suddenly
begins to rattle off details about his life that she had no way of knowing (we
lovingly call: reading a person’s mail). He confirms that she is correct on
everything. As a result, he expresses interest in this thing called: baptism of the
Holy Spirit.
SPINA-BIFADA
November 20, 2004: Pastor Dan prays over Alise for a type of spina-bifada and
pain in her lower back. Pain gone but numbness remains. So Dan lays hands
on her and prays a second time. Numbness gone. Praise God! Later Pastor
Beth prays over Baptist brother Don. Don suddenly announces before her
prayer that he will not be falling down during her prayer. So she prays and he
falls under the power of the Anointing.
FROM DEPRESSION TO MUCH LAUGHTER:
June 5, 2004: Pastor Dan prayed over 12 year old Michael. After he fell out
under the power and rested on the floor, Andrea went over and prayed over him
another 2-3 minutes and asked God to give him joy. Then Michael got up and
started laughing heartily for the next 2-3 hours. Every time he tried to quit
laughing, it bubbled up out of him and he burst out again. Everyone was quite
amused by this – a kid who usually slept through the meetings, rarely smiled,
and begged his parents not to have to come that night. Now he was begging
not to leave church meeting.
GOD CLEANS OUT SMOKER’S LUNGS
April 24, 2004 Pastor’s Dan & Beth pray over gentleman who is addicted to
cigarettes. Suddenly he doubles over in real pain during the prayer. This
confuses Pastor Dan, who does not understand why someone would get hurt
badly during prayer. Gentleman asks Dan why he had just punched him in the
stomach. Dan said he did no such thing. Beth quickly got a word from the
Lord: “God is cleaning out your lungs/system from nicotine. Have you breathed
with healthy lungs before?” The gentleman answered “no” and then laughed
with joy for some time and agreed that God was doing this, and that his
breathing was changed. To our knowledge, he is still set free from cigarettes.
I’M JUST HERE TO DROP OFF MY SISTER:
(March 4, 2004)…is what the young man with piercings said to Bob before the
meeting was to start. Bob persuaded him to come on in and stay for a little bit.
A few minutes into the meeting the Spirit of the Lord seemed to fall on the
entire group there. Without anyone laying hands on him or speaking over him,
the stranger/visitor fell backwards into the couch and got up laughing and then
crying and then speaking in tongues, and then laughing, crying, and then
speaking in tongues. Pastor Dan asked him what was happening. He said he
didn’t even know what was happening to himself...he had only meant to drop
off his sister to the meeting.
GIFT OF THE SPIRIT FALLS ON UNEXPECTED
February 2004: A member, Bob, finds himself standing up and giving a Word of
Knowledge to Connie. Bob later said that he did not seem to know what he
was saying or why, but his words were very strong and by the Spirit. He
expressed great surprise and said this had never happened to him before.
HEALED OF SEVERE STROKE/PARALYSIS:
2003/2004: Rick & Terry were neighbors across the street from church
members Ann & Bob. Ann began to reach out to them and pray for them when
they were going through difficult times. One evening, Terry went into severe
seizures and the ambulance was called. Ann called Destiny’s House
members to pray in earnest. Ann & Bob & Pastor Dan went over to lay hands
and pray at the hospital. Terry was paralyzed on one half of her body with a
tube down her throat and no communication. The doctors told her husband to
prepare himself for many years of paralysis, special handicap needs for his
wife, and to put her in a hospice. Rick was in shock. God had different plans
for Rick & Terry. A day or two later she walked out of the Hospital on her own
strength and seemed back to her normal self. Pastor Dan phoned another
pastor who had been by to pray, and told him the news. The pastor was in
shock and said that she had looked dead & hopeless when he had visited to
pray. A week later from the incident, Terry was back at work.
BLESSED MARRIAGE:
September 20, 2003: Mike & Stacy announce to the fellowship publicly that they
would never have stayed together and would never have married had it not
been for this family of believer’s prayer & support.
STOLEN BOAT RECOVERED:
December 2003: Pastors Beth & Dan visit friend Jeff & his girlfriend’s boat
tours business in St. Pete Florida. Jeff is sad because one of her boats was
just stolen earlier that day. While everyone else is speaking bad news over
them and telling them they will never get it back; asking about insurance, Beth
& Dan spoke (prophesied) that God would get the boat back and catch the bad
guy(s) who had stolen it. The next morning Jeff called Beth with these words:
“It’s a miracle!! Like a needle in a haystack, I don’t know how else they could
have spotted it, but a plane flying several miles over at…”
MYSTERIOUS ‘SUDDENLY’
August 22, 2003: Several teens join us in prayer. During prayer in a circle, one
named William suddenly leaves the prayers circle as though violently ill, and
goes to a back room. Awhile later a teen girl, Kayla, asks Pastor Dan to go
back and talk to William. He says basically this statement: “I still don’t know
what is happening to me. For the last several minutes I have been crying to
God and repenting of my sins & I don’t know why. All the years I’ve gone to my
other church, nothing like this has ever happened to me!” He was visibly very
shaken up. He later told Heidi that he would like to come to every meeting from
then on.
ACID REFLUX HEALED:
June 2003: Pastor Dan prayed over Ken, who said he could not seem to get
over acid reflux and get a good night’s sleep. The next weekend Ken said: 1
night, 2 nights, 3 nights, then 4th night he really took a step of faith and ate
ravioli at 9:45 p.m. – still no acid reflux! Praise God!
GOD ENHANCES BAPTISM:
Easter Sunday March 20, 2003: Pastor Dan & Ken baptize Heidi, Kayla, and
David at Apollo beach. Some commented that it was the best baptism they
had ever been to because, in part, of things like dolphins that swam up and a
cloud formation above them that strangely had the distinct form of a large
cross. (Photographs available)
One sad note: Bob had a heavy heart for David’s father and felt pressed to ask
him if he would like to be baptized too. He declined. He died in a car accident a
few days later.
TRAGEDY AVERTED
July 2002: Pastor’s Dan & Beth’s daughter was on a tricyle that was
accidentally pushed down a hill and into the street in front of a speeding van
coming around a blind corner. Beth yells, “Help Jesus.” Everyone seemed in
shock, including the driver who could not figure out why his van stopped in
such a short distance.
FOUR HEALED OF BRAIN TUMORS/CANCER:
April/May 2002: Around this time there were strangely 4 different people who
had brain tumors that we were asked to pray for. None of these folks knew
each other...we heard of them through different people. Destiny’s House lifted
each of them up in prayer; soon after, all 4 were healed and no longer had
tumors. We were certainly not the only ones praying and not necessarily who
God was using directly to get them healed…God seemed to respond to a
multitude of prayers. But two were close relatives of members of Destiny’s
House.
FEELS LIKE FIRE:
February 2002: Pastor Dan & Mark Stelling pray over Bob. Bob then begins to
tell them that he is very surprised that his body feels suddenly very hot, as
though it is on fire. All concur that this is a sign from God -- showing that He is
burning out the spiritual impurities from Bob.
SPIRIT OF SUICIDE & DEEP DEPRESSION:
Pastor Dan prays for a woman very close to Beth who is bothered by a spirit of
suicide & major depression. Dan confesses after the prayer that the unclean
spirit was so strong in the room that it felt as though all his faith & hope for the
woman was sucked out of the room and all he had left was just “empty
sounding” words. Dan lost all faith during the prayer and later worried that the
prayer had no effect. Weeks later that same woman said that that prayer was
the turning point in her life. From then on those same demonic spirits did not
come back again.
